The Pa Hsien, an assemblage also known as the Eight Immortals of Chinese Mythology, an incredibly auspicious group from Taoist legend, has been the subject of many Chinese artists. Their colorful likenesses have adorned not only wall hangings but vases, urns, plates, fans, scrolls, embroidery, and everything else you can imagine. this colorful cast of characters.
The mere presence of the Pa Hsien aka the Eight Immortals will help make your home protected from all eight directions of your Feng Shui Bagua energy map. For this reason you will find their images in almost all Chinese homes.
Chang Guo Lao (Zhang-Guo-lao) He helps you with reincarnation, fertility, and prophetic dreams. Known for riding his donkey backwards and his ability to fold the donkey and place him in a small box when not needed. He can also forecast future events using his fish drum.

Han Shiang Zi (Han Xiang-Zi) Patron Saint of Music, he is also Master of the theories of Yin Yang and the Five Phases of Energy. He plays the six healing sounds on his magical flute made of purple bamboo. He can make flowers and plants grow and bloom.

He Shian Gu (Ho Hsien-Ku) She is referred to as the Patroness of Housewives. She is also known for her help in marriage, family and health. She assists those in dire need of divine intervention.

*Mount – Deer
Lan Ts’ai-Ho (Lan Chai-He) She is the Patron Saint of Florists. She carries a basket of 108 flowers and sometimes has a magical flute. She brings joy and beautiful people into your home. She is also the Protector of Horticulture. She is also known for health & relationship Luck.
*Direction – Northwest
*Element – Metal
*Talisman – Magical Basket of Flowers
*Mount – Elephant
Ts’ao Kuo-Chiu (Chao Guao-Jiu) He is a powerful protector who may be present without you knowing he is guarding your home. He helps in academic achievement. He is considered the Patron Saint of the Theater. He is the best dressed of the Eight Immortals.
*Direction – Northeast
*Element – Earth
*Talisman – Magical Castanets
*Mount – Horse
Li T’ieh-Guai (Lee Tie Guai) Known as the Patron Saint of the Sick and Needy, he is often shown with an Iron Crutch or Magical Staff. He also is shown with a Sacred Gourd Wou-Lou. Lee Tie Guai is also a Magical Sage. His Gourd is filled with medicinal potions.

*Talisman – Iron Staff / Magical Gourd
*Mount – Pi Yao
Lu Dong Bin (Lu Tung-Pin) He is known as the Patron Saint of Scholars and Warriors. He carries a magical sword (Chan-Yao Kuai) which he uses to kill demons and bad spirits. He helps with scholastic luck and protection from bad Chi.

*Talisman – Magical Sword
*Mount – Majestic Tiger
