You go all out taking about how much you LOVE him on network cable and TV. You didn’t pay attention to the red flags when you started seeing him and he bewitched you by pretending that he put Orion in the sky then you tell all of your girlfriends that he can make stars. Meanwhile your girlfriends are worried that they may have to commit you.
Some women have a pattern of being in love with the idea of thinking that they’re really special to a particular man. And all the signs are there. When it gets really bad, you write dear Abby telling her you’re convinced your man loves you but you’re having communication problems.
It ain’t communication, it’s liberation problems you’re having. You won’t do what it takes to really free yourself from him. If you’ve trapped yourself with a man who you think loves you and you’re wondering why he can’t really seem to love you, then you need to take out a pen right now.
Go on, do something dangerous.
Draw two columns. On one side write, “What love is” and on the other write, “What love isn’t.”
I hope you’re not afraid to really find out because at least you have a man. When you are ready to become a Queen, you’ll do what it takes to be responsible for being the kind of woman who a real man can truly cherish.
